This Privacy Policy explains how 4Sure Bookkeeping LLC (“GeniCharts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use GeniCharts (the “Service”). By using GeniCharts, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: your name, firm name (optional), email address, and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in plain text.
Billing information: when you purchase a plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details directly. We never receive or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status and plan tier.
Usage data: the charts of accounts you generate (industry selected, account count, saved templates), and export activity, so we can operate plan limits and improve the Service.
Feedback: anything you submit through our feedback form, including an optional email address if you want a reply.
Technical data: standard log and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
Create and manage your account, authenticate you, and communicate with you about your account;
Process payments, manage subscriptions, and enforce plan limits;
Respond to feedback, questions, or support requests;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate GeniCharts. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Supabase: authentication, database, and storage of your account and usage data.
Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
Resend: delivery of account emails (signup confirmation, password reset) and feedback notifications.
Vercel: application hosting and basic, aggregated usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

GeniCharts uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying signed in.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain records (for example, billing records) to comply with law or resolve disputes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

Access, correct, or update your account information from your account settings;
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the address below;
Manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page;
Submit feedback without providing an email address if you prefer not to be identified.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

GeniCharts is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of GeniCharts after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
